Gestapo 666/Black Gestapo Metal/Sadogowarex/2005 CD Review

Gestapo 666 are a band from France that plays a very raw form of satanic black metal and this is a review of their 2005 album "Black Gestapo Metal" which was released by Sadogowarex.

Drums range from slow, mid paced to fast drumming with some blast beats being thrown in at times, while the bass playing has a very dark tone with riffs that follow the riffing that is coming out of the guitars.

Rhythm guitars range from slow, mid paced to fast raw and primal black metal riffs that have an earl 80's black/thrash feel at times and there are little to no guitar solos or leads present on this recording.

Vocals are all high pitched black metal screams with some occasional grim sounding growls being thrown in at times, while the lyrics cover Satanism, Occultism, Darkness and the Holocaust, as for the production it has a very dark, raw and primal sound to it.

In my opinion Gestapo 666 are a very good raw satanic black metal band and if you are a fan of this style, you should check out this band. RECOMMENDED TRACKS INCLUDE "Gestapo Of Satan" "In The Sign of the Totenkopf" and "The Victory of Darkness and Death". RECOMMENDED BUY.
